We make objects that change how you see light.

CMY Cubes® began with a question: what happens when cyan, magenta, and yellow meet? The answer, it turns out, is every colour your eyes can see.

We're an Australian brand crafting translucent cubes, polyhedrons, puzzles, squishies, and other curious objects that turn real science into something you can hold, turn, stack, squish, and stare at far longer than you planned to.

Our Story

Two people, one cube, endless colours.

We're Enzo and Gabi, a duo from Sydney, Australia. Enzo is an engineer who can't leave anything unexamined; if it works, he wants to know why. Gabi is the creative one, happiest when she's sharing something wonderful with the world.

In 2020 we held our first translucent cube up to the light and watched the colours shift, overlap, and bloom into shades we hadn't expected. We turned it over about a hundred times. Then we looked at each other and knew exactly what we had to do.

CMY Cubes was born from that moment: a shared belief that learning should feel like discovery, and that the best ideas are the ones you can't wait to hand to someone else.

The Science

Real physics, made beautiful.

Cyan, magenta, and yellow are the subtractive primaries. Layer them and they can produce the full visible spectrum. It's the same colour science behind every photo ever printed, and it's been hiding in plain sight your whole life.

Every object we make is grounded in that real science. Our polyhedrons trace the geometry of the Platonic solids. Newton's Tower splits play across all seven colours of the spectrum. Nothing is invented, nothing is dressed up. The physics is genuinely this gorgeous.
